Welcome to the Jungle felting course
Do you like lush houseplants but don't have “green fingers”? How about a felt forest?
Here you will create an individual felt element, consisting of one or more parts, to design your window or living room. Various templates and examples will inspire you to create your own design. You first draw this on paper. I will advise and support you in the realization of your felt project.
In addition to a wide selection of different sheep's wool in shades of green and other colors, other fibers, natural yarns and silk fabrics are available.
We work using the wet felting technique with soap and water. Using your felt jungle, you will learn how to make cords, surfaces and bodies from felt wool. You will also learn about the term shrink factor, surface design options and nuno felt.
Wet felting is a wonderful adventure that I would like to introduce you to in all its naturalness, beauty and feel. The focus is on the joy of creating with your own hands. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students.
Maximum 10 participants, minimum age 12 years (up to 14 accompanied by an adult)
