I enjoy sewing in the Lolita style myself and am offering a beginner-friendly, interactive workshop on the subject.

We’ll start with a brief look at handmade Lolita headbands, explaining their construction, design choices and common mistakes or adjustments.

This will be followed by a practical session where participants will learn basic hand-stitching techniques using fabric remnants.

The aim is for even beginners without a sewing machine to pick up the basics so they can create their own headpieces. I would demonstrate techniques such as whipstitch, backstitch, rolled hem and knife pleats, among others, with hands-on practice.

At the end, everyone takes their fabric samples home as a reference. I also plan to provide a short bilingual (DE/EN) handout with stitching terms, as well as a digital PDF containing the workshop content.
